Teams as a base for active, engaged, collaborative teaching

This video demonstrates the approach that I am using in January 2024, for our undergraduate Intro to Design Thinking module. Our aim is for the students to feel and behave as if they are members of a design consultancy team, so we use methods and tools used in that kind of organisation. Teams is the wrapper, and the communication platform. We use Microsoft Planner, Lists, and Word as well. Planner is especially interesting, as we can use the Kanban approach to planning and task management with the students. The Teams channel also brings a Miro board, a Mindomo diagram, and Youtube videos, into the module base. You might want to use some of these techniques, or adapt them, for your own teaching. You might also use these techniques for other kinds of project.
